  • Rushed disappointment

Seriously 3 books for this ending?! What about the bloody sheets and the psycho tarot reader?! Who just drugs someone and keeps them against their will? How was that the explanation. How anticlimactic, terrible and I love this author which is the only reason I don't give it one star

This was the perfect end to a great series. Those who were disappointed missed the point of the series. They expected a "simple" ending like a conspiracy or something alien, etc. But the ending was deep and must have gone right over their heads. All the myriads of details that some wanted cleared up and tied with a bow didn't need to be resolved. That was the whole point -- Charlie and Silas weren't responsible for other people's lives. It wasn't up to them to "fix" the mistakes their parents/peers made. It wasn't necessary, because those things were peripheral. The journey Charlie and Silas took was something we experienced right along with them. Their responses and reactions were clear all along the way. Their epiphany should have been shared by us, as well. If the end wasn't "enough," then the reader completely missed the revelation and failed to have their own epiphany. It wasn't about fate. Fate had nothing to do with it. Deep calls unto deep, and nothing is more powerful than the love that binds two individuals together who have belonged together since before time began. Calling it their destiny is just another way of saying "love will find a way." They aren't "fated." They are bound and defined by a love so powerful that it won't let go until they drop the excess baggage and grab hold of the life they were meant to live. Great series. My hat off to the authors. :)
  • Not the ending I expected

Although the third part was as exciting as the first two and the love and meaning of fate are still very strong I was disappointed in the ending. Not all the pieces were wrapped up in a neat little bow so I was left wanting more. Don't get me wrong, I still loved it just not as much as part 1 or 2 and I wish that it could have been longer or that they did a 4th part because I am left wondering what was in the files, what became of the Shrimp, and so many other questions.

The first two books were AMAZING and even this one kept my attention throughout the whole thing. The ending is very disappointing though....a lot of things are left unanswered and are not explained.
  • Awesome Series!

What an ending! This series makes you have a roller coaster of emotions. You never know what's going to happen next. A must read for those who love a mystery and those who are a bit of a romantic. Silas and Charlie make you wish for the their happily ever after.
  • Such a disappointment

Waited all that time for nothing. The third book doesn't solve anything, ends abruptly (don't they all) and feels like it was hastily put together. Even if I read all 3 books at the same time, the ending would still be a big disappointment.
  • all the hype...

All the hype for what? Book 3 wasn't as good as books 1 & 2. Oops, let me rephrase that - book 3 wasn't good at all. Questions were left unanswered. Waste of my time.
